"He's lost three equipment deliveries, ruined the goods of four different stalls and set the south wing of the bower on fire just in this last week. Of course I fired him"- Parsemontret, probably.

Finli Abader's resume is impressive and long-winded; both descriptors of how short-lived his employment at any job seems to be. He's worked in about every job imaginable, from janitorial duties, to culinarian, to mercenary and anything in between.A year after arriving to Eorzea from Dalmasca, he accumulated a massive debt while under the employment of the Eorzean Delivery Service after misplacing an important parcel.Not only that, but he has several debts to other individuals and businesses, mainly due to his terrible luck causing severe damage to most of his previous workplaces.Finli takes every job he can get to save money and pay off his debts, though he ends up accumulating more or losing the earned gil.

"A Dalmascan? All the way here on Thanalan?"- Untrusty ex-boss

Finli is a child of Dalmasca, a city boy from Rabanastre. Even at a young age, Finli was hustling around the royal city's bazaars and the corners of lowtown.Finli had to fend for himself. His father was an officer of the 4th Imperial Legion always away on duty, and his mother a notorious thief with infrequent stays at home.Taught to earn his own money and gain his own influence by his mother, Finli has always dreamed of the day he doesn't have to work anymore, of becoming important enough to be above everything else. While he doesn't resent his lot in life, he is not satisfied with it.After being kicked from Lente's Tears, he sought to flee Dalmasca and make his way to the unoccupied realm of Eorzea, where maybe, he could make something of himself.Things have, however, not gone great over in Aldenard, though had been a vast improvement over imperial policing.

"These are Nouliths see? Used in Some-o-not-ifs. I'm very skilled with those, I think it speaks volumes of my diverse skillset and would be a great addition to the team."- Finli during a job interview.

Most of the scars found around Finli are not from combat, but from several nonsensical mishaps. Even then, he still knows how to handle a sword on account of several duties that required it.You can see him, however, always carrying a set of nouliths, the tools of the studied sages; studies that Finli lacks.As he tells the story, the Nouliths were crafted by an old friend of his in Rabanastre, that Finli inherited after his death. While he mostly kept them around as a memento, Finli happened upon a sage's soul crystal shortly after 'misplacing' the parcel that got him his infamous debt.While he is still not learned in the sage arts, he uses the soul crystal to make the Nouliths function, even if in basic ways.

Finli presents himself with femininity, uncaring for gender norms in regards to clothing and outward appearance.He's picked up the habit of making himself pretty, well-dressed and presentable from his mother, who unloaded unto him her love for fashion, makeup and exotic fabrics. A guinea pig for his mom's ensembles.There is the hint of perfume around him and mannerisms bespeaking of his care for clothing.He wears his hair messy but clean, making sure to trim it periodically to keep it at his preferred length and form.Finli has an assortment of scars at odd spots; cuts and bruises. He doesn't hide them that much, so it seems to not be a bother to him. Maybe proof of his experience?
